医用玻璃分类：医用防辐射铅玻璃、医用注射器玻璃、医用玻璃纤维绷带等。医用玻璃用途：用于制造光学玻璃、电真空玻璃、低温封接玻璃、防辐射玻璃、铅晶质玻璃、火石类光学玻璃、低熔玻璃、延迟线玻璃、高折射微珠玻璃及艺术器皿玻璃等。医用防辐射铅玻璃：铅玻璃在医学领域又称医用X射线防辐射铅玻璃板，铅玻璃主要分为国产铅玻璃和进口铅玻璃，主要用作诊断X射线机房、CT、ECT、PET、CT-PET等机房以及X射线摄影防护室、防护门防护屏上的观察窗，以及核医学用操作防护屏等。所需厚度可根据计算确定。医用注射器玻璃：定义：用于加工医用注射器的玻璃称之为医用注射器玻璃。规格：2毫升、5毫升、10毫升或20毫升注射器，偶用50毫升或100毫升，皮内注射则用1毫升注射器。特点：玻璃注射器，玻璃透明度好，可以看到注射药物的情况。此后有玻璃管金属并用制成的注射器，可用煮沸法消毒，针头也可以磨尖再用和消毒。
